John Lasseter seems a pretty powerful guy within Disney these days and he's certainly Studio Ghibli's most prominent supporter in the west, let's hope he'll work some magic and get Disney on board to localise and publish it.
I'd sure like to play it, but let's be honest children wielding pocket monsters that don't include Red Hats & Team Rocket isn't going to sell well over here.
Hope it makes it over here. Studio Ghibli makes the best gay anime shit around. Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away are two of my favorites.

Japanese developers need to get together with American gamers and figure out what games from them they'll buy. Or maybe they already did that and no one else wants the Japanese games we want.

That thing that you're missing is basic writing ability. Seriously, is failure to complete third grade English class a prerequisite to write for Destructoid?
@ NickCull- There are Japanese gamers who prefer Western games, but I think they're up to their necks in Halo, Uncharted, GTA, Red Dead Redemption, and other straight American piss. I'm not sure that there are too many big name Western games that aren't available to them.
When I was in Tokyp last year, there were TONS of Halo reach commercials on TV at our hotel. There were also playing the Western Resident Evil movie on TV a lot.
The only thing I didn't see much of at all, Western or otherwise, was download only games. They just haven't caught on in Japan yet.

The up close characters could use a bit of work but the overall world, HOLY SHIT, best looking game ever. Yeah Crysis 2 with a DX 11 patch looks good, but the sheer artistry of this pushes it over the edge imo. I need this game, MAKE IT HAPPEN PUBLISHERS.
The art style is good, but I hope its a good game. Its a jrpg, right? Its looking a little bit run of the mill in that genre from the previews though.

I'm not really a huge fan of gay anime shit, but I love Ghibli's gay animes, and I'm due for some HD J-RPG shit. This looks fantastically gay, I want it! and the shit DS one too.

Level 5 asked on FB a while back which of their games had the most interest to be translated. Ni No Kuni won I believe so it shows they have interest in bringing it over.
Good thing I just started taking a Japanese class at my local community college. Because if this doesn't get localized, I can just import the Japanese version!

@Gaydren Right, it looks just like Gay Anime Shit, that blockbuster hit from 2002. Of course, I don't know if it plays anything like Gay Anime Shit. It had such definitive mechanics for its time.
We're certainly hitting near saturation point for gay anime shit. However, I'd like to see some more exposure to the sub-genre, anime's gay shit. That is an untapped goldmine.
