The first downloadable content for Fallout 3, Operation: Anchorage, was loved by some but received its fair share of hate mail. I happened to enjoy it for a few reasons, namely the the new locale and the killer loot shown above.
Bethesda's original plan was to release the second content pack a month after Operation Anchorage, with the final DLC pack making it out in March. For better or for worse, both pieces of downloadable content will now be delayed, Bethesda VP of marketing Pete Hines has revealed.
Now, The Pitt, a new quest revolving around the raider-populated ruins of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, will be released sometime in March. Additionally, Broken Steel, the one that raises the level cap to 30 and lets you continue on past Fallout 3's original ending, won't be out until April.
I was really hoping I'd be able to play Broken Steel before April, but if this delay means a better overall product, I will be more than happy to wait it out.
Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied:
"bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
The next two packs need to have some pretty kickass loot if they hope to compete with the Gauss Rifle, stealth suit, and that lightning sword thingy.
I suppose it will mean better DLC in the long run but *sigh and *moan
The Chinese Stealth Armor and Gauss Rifle are just TOO COOL.
It's sad the next two DLC packs have been delayed a bit but I'd buy them day and date whenever they'll hit regardless. Maybe this means I've got even cooler loot coming to me! :)
User made quests are great, but bethesda did some really great stuff with oblivion. And #3 should be free, especially seeing as one can raise the cap with a console command <_<
I'm not that excited for The Pitt. Running around shooting raiders in the head? It's fun, but I do that already. Maybe they'll do something cool with it.
Maybe you can drop a vat of boiling hot steel onto a group of dudes or something. I don't know, just throwin' ideas out there. I have faith in Bethesda to make each expansion worth our while.
Guess i will just have to read more killzone 2 articles
And yes, the cha-ching of fresh XP hitting your character is in fact nearly orgasmic. I'd been playing at level 20 for so long I almost forgot about it.
I DRINK IT ALL UP!
really badly :(
