Played it here at a club nintendo event in chicago last Friday... its ok, needs some work to be ready for launch...

The game actually looks artistically great. The art really builds a decent horror atmosphere, the nurseries and crap are kinda creepy and all the zombies and stuff are nice and detailed. I'm excited as all hell for the Wii U solely because I really just want to see HD Nintendo games.
I just read a quote from some Ubisoft big wig that said they weren't investing much in the Wii U, and haven't spend much money on Zombi U. They managed to shatter my seriously high expectations for this game in a matter of seconds. He pretty much told us we can expect a super short, full priced game with Zombi U.
He admitted that they didn't spend anywhere near the amount of money on it that they would spend on a current gen game on the PS3 and 360 because the Wii U isn't proven yet....Seriously. Talk about dooming your own game before it even releases. So much for buying the Wii U for Zombi U.

It is sad that the concept art has been hoisted on the consumer game media to placate the comments from UBISOFT supremo about their underspend on Wii-U titles and that the game was cheap to develop.
After the reaction to those players that saw the recent build, some damage limitation had to be employed to avoid the criticism of the miss-match with the game they will release and the E3 presentation. This could be a serious situation if the players rebel being promised one thing and getting another. And the use of the second screen (tablet) proves to be a fake'y!
