New Zeno Clash screens (it's that game you've all forgotten about) photo

Remember Zeno Clash? Of course you don't, which is why I am here to refresh your memory. A while ago I posted a teaser trailer for this bizarre FPS, and today developer ACE Team contacted us with a few fresh screenshots.

This game uses the Source Engine, and it can't be denied that the graphics show it. However, I have always believed that art direction is more impressive than sheer graphical power, and Zeno Clash has the former in spades. Just check out the bizarre "Mucalosaurus" creatures in the third shot. No matter the engine, that's some lovely imagery.

ACE Team has also set up a message board where interested fans can get firsthand updates on the game and chat to the people behind it. I still have no idea whether this game plays well, but I do know that it's dripping style from every pore.

Yeah, badger was my first thought as well. I would definitely buy any game in which a badger joined your party.

little mmo made by that one lonesome guy. yeah, i'd marry him... as long as i get to play that game SOON

For some reason this reminds me of Psychonauts. A more mature Psychonauts would be the most amazing game ever, so this wins.

if it's any consellation, I still remember it after I clinked on the link you gave. Only I'm still unimpressed by it. The art looks spiffy, but the combat looks pedestrian.

Haha, I was really freaked out by the teaser trailer back in February.. A friend of mine likes to sneak up behind me and whisper into my ear: "My children", in just the same style as Father/Mother does.. =P He even calls me with hidden ID in the middle of the night and says it.. =P
