Are they really good? 'Cause I have never played any. Is there any for PC or 360? If not, I'll pass, 'cause I won't get a game for my PSP that I can't compare to some source.
^ Eh? Really? Don't you think it' d be better to spend $30 on a questionable PSP game than $50-60 on the 360/PC version? Maybe that's just me.

as long as it's nothing like Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble, was for the PSP...that game was a total disappointment.
Graphics are pretty crazy awesome, considering this is a damned PSP game. Diggin the cutscene art style too. Gotta say, I is officially interested.
But, but, but, the PSP has got no gaemz and is the unloved, unsupported ginger bastard stepchild of the Sony family. An abhoration to all that is gaming. I thought it didn't deserve to exist and was a black mark on gaming's history. I was under the impression that the World would be a better place if the PSP never existed?!?

For me, it's the console that has lived the longest, had some of the best games, has given me the MOST play time, and has the best graphics and capabilities of any portable gaming unit I've ever seen. I've had mine since launch, I've had it replaced on insurance once because the analogue stick got "sticky" after a good few years (and MANY MANY MANY hours) but apart from that it's spent many years in my car and I've had LOADS of awesome games to play on it.
This looks like it's going to be another one to add to the list of fucking awesome, home console quality games in my pocket!

Somebody tell me who Sexualchocolate is taking shots at, because there was no hostility in this topic until he came in, lashing at a fanboy that's not here.
I'm not taking shots at anyone in particular, just this site has been full of psp hate since the launch of the go.
@sexualchocolate: Hard to argue with that. Harder to argue that the Go isn't deserving of some level of disdain.
I love that header image sketch, the blue-tinted one with the people standing around. It'd be *amazing* if they actually used that as the game's art style. Sadly not to be.
The go is indeed underwhelming for some users, but the disdain it has generated seems to have bled into the psp as a whole.
Go is ok for some (i want one) but sucks for others.

I agree with SexualChoc. usually there's always PSP Hate in every PSP article saying it has no games and it sucks. Im surprise there isnt hate so far in this story but there will be soon. But the hate is usually is from people that never even touched a PSP anyway :/

The Yakuza (Ryuu ga Gotoku) games have been marketed as Japan's answer to GTA, which is a blatant untruth. They're more like an evolution of arcade side-scrolling beat-em-ups with RPG and free-roam elements (sans carjacking, these games are all about foot traffic). Think No More Heroes 2, rather than GTA4. That and they're fsking awesome.
So a definite buy for me. Kenka Bancho was interesting, if repetitive, and the combat just didn't have much depth. Yakuza PSP isn't going to improve on that, because Yakuza's combat system has always been better than Kenka Bancho's.

It's an option. It's one of many options with the PSP range. If you want it, buy it. If not, don't.
