...which is funny that I mention the price tag, 'cause that's exactly why I'm interested in this.
At least that's how you guys seem to make out?
For me, it's the console that has lived the longest, had some of the best games, has given me the MOST play time, and has the best graphics and capabilities of any portable gaming unit I've ever seen. I've had mine since launch, I've had it replaced on insurance once because the analogue stick got "sticky" after a good few years (and MANY MANY MANY hours) but apart from that it's spent many years in my car and I've had LOADS of awesome games to play on it.
This looks like it's going to be another one to add to the list of fucking awesome, home console quality games in my pocket!
Go is ok for some (i want one) but sucks for others.
Psp is fucking great!
I'm not really tolling here, more like positive anti-tolling.
you mean positive anti-trolling? because that last word negates both of the previous ones.
I still use my PSP because it's got more interesting graphics than the DS.
@RaelXX
The Yakuza (Ryuu ga Gotoku) games have been marketed as Japan's answer to GTA, which is a blatant untruth. They're more like an evolution of arcade side-scrolling beat-em-ups with RPG and free-roam elements (sans carjacking, these games are all about foot traffic). Think No More Heroes 2, rather than GTA4. That and they're fsking awesome.
So a definite buy for me. Kenka Bancho was interesting, if repetitive, and the combat just didn't have much depth. Yakuza PSP isn't going to improve on that, because Yakuza's combat system has always been better than Kenka Bancho's.
Agree entirely, people seem to think the Go is THE PSP now, but it's like saying the DS sucks because I don't like the RED one.
It's an option. It's one of many options with the PSP range. If you want it, buy it. If not, don't.
I want a smaller PSP, I also want to not have to buy UMD's, so a GO is the solution for me. If you want UMD's, or don't like DD, or you don't want to re-buy your UMD's as digital games - stick with a PSP3000 or something.
