Sierra is about to release World in Conflict for the PC, and they have amped up the latest trailer with some Magnum P.I. love. Many sitesare repoting that the game has a release date of August 15th, 2007 which is not true according to Sierra. The demo is slated around that time. The game itself will be out mid to late September of this year as a Games for Windows game. I must say, I watched this trailer and my moustache grew considerably. I just wish it had a Ferrari GTO and some hot Higgins action.
HA! While you were writing this post I pulled ahead by two handles of vodka. Despite the obvious amount of alchohol poison I am suffering from I am now 8 hours ahead of you in our little game of drink till you die.
Not a bad game either... Way different from normal RTS's, which I like. Kinda missed the whole base building/research aspect, but the pacing of the battles and everything kinda made up for it.
No way in hell I'd even attempt it on the 360 though.
This game is amazing. They had an open multiplayer beta for most of July, so I've already played it for 30+ hours and pre-ordered it. There is absolutely no base building/research or any of the other things that can make traditional RTS's boring and pedantic. It's all about teamwork (8v8 multiplayer action) and tactics. Also NUKES.
