This is going to be a very fun game. Not amazing, but fucking fun. And like I said before, Max Payne meets Mirror's Edge.
Looks like fun, although it might get old after a while. That is assuming of course they don't shake things up in the course of the game.
And for some reason all I could think about while watching the trailer was: Sky Pirates! Although I have no clue as to why exactly.

actually looks fun. the visuals look generic, but the gameplay promises a fun experience, so it balances it out for me.

@Vrynix - If bullet time killing 360 degree acrobatics get old for you after awhile... then maybe Max Payne-ish games aren't really meant for you.
For me, that games looks fucking sweet! I just hope the environment interaction is a little tighter than what I've seen in previous games like this.

Hmm it looks decent but I'm reminded a lot of Stranglehold while watching this. It looks like that game with more climbing. Not necessarily a bad thing though. I'll have to wait to see/read more about it. If it came out tomorrow I'd probably skip it.

I'd be lying if I said that "Sky Pirates" was what I was thinking, but now that you mention it, it seems to make some kind of freakish sense.
- Rubi Wet is dressed like a modern pirate and uses twin pistols, like someone who auditioned to play Revy from Black Lagoon, but was rejected for wearing too much clothing. She might also have auditioned for a Tomb Raider remake, but was passed over for Angelina Jolie.
- She wields a Chinese-y sword. Chinese pirates were famous, and they wielded Chinese-y swords, too.
- She's always flying through the air in that trailer, which might count as a low version of the sky.

Boy its been awhile since I played the Katana mod for Max Panye. Looks like it must have been improved a lot since then. Thats cool. Might have to check it out again sometime.

Not really that impressed but lol'd at the end when she yelled "kiss my ass motherfucker". It was unexpected.
wow been ages since I heard anything of this game, I actually thought it was velvet assassin for a while but i knew from the trailer as she slid on her knees this was the game i was trying to remember all them months ago.
However its changed alot i think in the teaser she had like red hair ala heavenly sword. Though this looks like they ripped the stranglehold engine made some tweaks, sprinkled in some matrix and threw in some sass.

I'm not sure about this, but I believe the name "Wet" is based of the term "wetwork". That is to say, killing. The term is usually used in movies in regards to hiring an assassin.

wait, what was that game that was set on a giant boat (basically a floating city) that was attacked by terrorists and needed somebody to take out the assassins before they took out the boat? the one where the gameplay is based around water physics? i thought that was wet, but i'm obviously mistaken...
