I'm looking forward to this, but the more and more I hear kinda dissapoints me. So far the main thing i'm interested in is the way it's handling the story. Since you get a little more meat when it comes to accepting quests and finishing quests story wise.
Bioware also feels the need to shoehorn in romance subplots in every fucking game they touch. Worst RPG developer in the business.
I don't care if it's derivative; combine Borderlands, and an updated Jedi Outcast/Academy and you'll be golden, get some good writers as I know Bioware has and it'd be done and dusted, seriously.
What's your damage, fuckers? You're not George Lucas, I don't see why you seem determined to ruin a great (albeit gay/nerdy as shit) universe.
The only thing I'm legitimately worried about is lack of end-game content, as they've already said they don't plan on supporting raids/instances with more than 5 players - say goodbye to the majority of your userbase after they hit the level cap.
MMOs pretty much always tend to be a few levels below your standard fare, so they can be played on as many low end systems as possible. That's standard for pretty much every MMO that's been successful.
The fact that people still don't get that, despite games like WoW and CoH being successful for nearly a decade, makes me weep for my demographic at times.
No, its not very new or innovative but... I find myself liking that fact. Innovation is great and all but so is refinement. I still fully intend to check out GW2 because it looks fucking AWESOME(and Ill always have a place in my heart for Guild Wars), and it has no monthly fee so I can play both the old and busted, and the new hotness.
Everybody commenting about the beta doesn't actually have a clue what's going on, since the beta build they were playing on has now already been taken down and is obsolete.
