I'm still waiting for a really good Doctor Who game. The BBC-produced episodic adventure game released last year does not qualify, as far as I'm concerned, but there's hope for The Eternity Clock. Due out next month, we can see from the trailer here that it's a more action-focused platform game with co-op play as the second player controls the Doctor's charming companion, River Song.
The Eternity Clock is set to release on PS3 and Vita in March, while the PC version will follow along shortly thereafter. I lost a lot of interest in the adventures of The Doctor in this last season, dropping out before the end, but this does look like it could be fun (if a little rough). And bowties are cool, so there's that.

River Song is the reason I want this as much as I do. She's the best (sorta) companion imo. Plus Eleven is probably my favourite Doctor of NuWho. Unfortunately I don't have a PS3 though :(
Love Matt Smith but he really needs new companions. Rory's awesome but Amy is... I'm just sick of how Amy treats the other characters. The wait for the next season is getting to me, so I'm probably going to get this just to quell it.
I liked how less magical Moffat's era feels compared with RTD's. I don't know how people can watch a gem like "The Sounds of Drums/The Last of the Time Lords" and not throw up.
River is annoying but in the same level as Rose. Amy, Rory and Donna are probably the best companions of nuWho.
I'm just glad none of the Characters a singing Scissor Sisters records, why ever Davis thought that was a good idea is beyond me.
The Christmas special this year was absolutely appalling, I fear Moff had spread himself a bit thin last year, with Sherlock and Tintin. This series going into the Anniversary year should be good though... fingers crossed.
Man, I dunno why people hate on River Song so. I love her story and character... after Matt Smith, though, the series feels like a kids show too often. I miss the "Detonate the reality Bomb!" and "I looked into the Tardis and the Tardis looked into me" moments.
Anyways, is it just me, or are the graphics really fugly?
Wow, harsh critics here. I think it looks good - not great, mind, but good. Platforming, puzzles, action, two-player co-op, authentic music and voices... these are all good things. Might grab it for Vita until the PC version arrives.
I like Matt Smith, but I'd be lying if I said I enjoyed his time as the Doctor even half as much as David Tennant. I don't know what exactly changed behind the scenes but it definitely seems to have lost a bit of the magic that kept me watching marathon-mode. Here's hoping the next season's new cast helps find a bit of that magic again.
I'm genuinely excited to see how they handle the whole situation where he meets the spaceman face to face (trying to avoid spoilers here).

Not that I'm missing out, this looked quite terrible.
I also wanted to add - River sucks. WTB Donna Noble (or anyone else) back.

But they're no stetsons.

After playing the iPhone game, I'm not getting my hopes up.
