Over the weekend, we brought word that the Burnout Paradise Bike update would be dropping this Thursday. The update will be bringing with it four motorcycles, a 24 hour day/night cycle, dynamic weather system and a ton more stuff -- all for free!
EA and Criterion just passed along this brand new trailer for Burnout Paradise showing the bikes in action and details everything that will be coming in this free DLC pack. I got to play with the new bikes last month and had an absolute blast with the them.
For more information on the bike update, check out the interview we did detailing the downloadable content or just head on over to Criterion Game's Web site.
So who's looking forward to the update? More importantly, who's going to host Burnout Paradise for FNF this week?
Hamza Aziz, Destructoid's Community Director, has been here since day one. He was born when a tiger coughed up a hairball into a pool of ooze. He was one of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before budget cuts. Hamza works as a previews editor and manages a team in San Francisco. To date he has given away tens of thousands of dollars in prizes to readers. What a dick. Actually, Hamza is as kind as he is hairy.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
I bought BP at launch and it's worth every euro I put on it.
I just wonder how can they do this with EA as a publisher
It's so uncharacteristic of an EA game to have free DLC, especially on this scale.
Expensive, as in they are probably dedicating a lot of programmers into it, not only modelers and game designers, as these are game changing material. It's not like they are asking money for content already shipped on disk, like some games tried, or just additional models / textures that could be prepared if you dedicated one or two people only.
While she was messing around, came on here and found this little tid bit. Great timing. Well not in a sense becaue I told her about the bikes -- and now she can't wait until Thrusday.
Game's a blast and neither one of us has even bothered with online yet. Best "eh I'll just pop into Best Buy but I probably won't get anything" purchase I've had in a while.
