Now that you've received a peek into Binary Domain's story from General Director Toshihiro Nagoshi himself earlier today, why not check out the game in action for yourself? "Bigger Than You Think" is the newest trailer for Binary Domain, and this one is all about the story. It has a very obvious I, Robot and Terminator-esque feel to it.
In this trailer you are introduced to the setting and characters that try to investigate a seemingly regulated world of robot technology, but there's one evil company that has taken it too far. Now, the robots are self aware and causing all sorts of trouble. Yeah, we've certainly seen this song and dance time and time again, but I have total faith in the Yakuza team to tell a story that feels fresh and compelling. Binary Domain hits store shelves February 28th for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
I genuinely appreciate it when publishers/developers announce games close to their release, instead of us waiting a year or more to get our hands on the game. Thank you, Sega!
This is the trailer they should have shown in the first place. Still have my doubts about it but I'm going to give the Yakuza team the benefit of the doubt and buy it.
I sat down with this for about 20 minutes or so at Eurogamer Expo in September. Didn't get to see much of the teammate interaction system, mostly just shooty explody gameplay segments. It was entertaining, but the controls felt a little bit clunky, although that may have been tightened up since. I'm excited though, it's on my do want list!

Now I need to decide which system to play it on.
The story looks genuinely interesting, those few clips of gameplay are looking good, this is now in a big way on my radar.
Would be a shame if the gameplay and story dont live up to the premise.
