Earlier we passed along word that Activison has officially announced Transformers: Rise of the Fallen for...well, everything out there. This evening they've followed up with the promised teaser trailer as well as a handful of new screenshots.
The trailer is personally addressed to you, from Optimus Prime himself. What an honor! It's short, but it looks pretty flashy, and you can see a bit of what looks to be game play from what I'd assume to be either the Xbox 360 or PS3 version. The screens? They're just posed shots of Bumblebee, Ironhide, and Optimus Prime. Oh, and a couple of one-on-one shots.

I'm like a little kid again when I here peter cullen's prime. It gives me chills, and makes me want to play with all my transformers toys. Granted the last games weren't all that good, although the ds games where pretty good.
Looks decent from the little footage there was. I love most things Transformers as it was one of my favorite shows growing up. However, the first movie tie in game was medicore at best and I have little hope for this since movie tie in games usually end up being rather meh.
I want to say that Explosions and Indistinguishable Machinery: Revenge of the Overused Ominous Name the Game is going to be better than the first one, but I have my doubts.
But bloody hell do I love listening to Prime's voice. My opinions on the designs notwithstanding, I'll at least give it a rental.
Yeah, same here. "Rise of the Fallen" would be a pretty singular sounding name for a movie, like "Stopping of the Movement" or "Death of the Living." Get the name right next time, Dtoid!

God I can't wait for this movie.
What he said. I'm stupid for supporting crap, but I know I'll get at least a little joy from it.
Man, the TF franchise has a lot of history and it lends itself to things beyond time missions and a terrible beat em up.
But bloody hell do I love listening to Prime's voice. My opinions on the designs notwithstanding, I'll at least give it a rental.
