I hope someone told them that the original games weren't just about killing insects. There were Godzillas in there too.
I love shooting bugs but the original just never clicked with me. I'll give this one a shot, though. In the meantime I'm having fun killing bugs in creative ways in the new Red Faction game. I think it's better than the reviews let on. They took the destruction of Guerilla and the underground locations of the first game. I dig the streamlined gameplay, the sandbox from the last game was too big and got very repetitive. And the shooting feels a lot better in this one.
Nope this is the EDF from a long running series of cheapo, balls to the wall action games from Japan.
It plays like an old school arcade game(I mean REAL old school) in the sense that every stage is only slightly different and your doing the same damn thing over and over again over hundreds of stages. Good thing is, it really doesn't get all that tiring killing giant space bugs and robots and saucers. Its a game in its purest form.
