The Terminator Salvation trailer hype train continues to move forward. We've seen some action; we've seen some split-screen, now it's time for ... more action! I love the Terminator franchise and I'll know I'll at least play the game, but these trailers just aren't doing it for me.
Like Brad "I can bench press a T-Rex" Nicholson, I too am having a hard time grasping how easy it is to kill a Terminator. Even Terminators have a hard time killing their own kind, as displayed in various episodes of The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Have you been watching the show? I want a third season to actually happen, dammit.

Speaking of which, I heard from someone that recently saw the Terminator Salvation movie say that the motorcycle scene is the best part of the movie. Cool.

Anyone remember the old Robocop vs Terminator game on the Mega drive(yanks read: Genesis)? (Could be wrong on the console, been a long time, might have been the Mega CD or Dreamcast or something)
Anyway, that game was sick.
I'm not buying the whole easy to kill Terminators, if you kill more than ONE through the whole game it's going to be lame, but if you only kill one it's gonna suck bigtime.
Give me a current gen T vs RC that would be a fuckin' winner!
The Terminators in this movie/game are the T-600 series which were built out of steel whereas the T-888s that we all know and love from the movie (and awesome TV show) are built from a metal compound called "coltan" which is sufficiently stronger.
So yeah, basically all of the robots you're seeing here are made out of weaker material which makes them a lot easier to destroy.

It's one of the best shows on TV right now (or WAS depending). I am totally not exaggerating either. The first season was a little shaky but trust me, it gets really good.
After I heard that line from the trailer for the show I put my arms up and said "I'm done."
That and the fact that the "terminator" chick is supermodel skinny, I just don't buy it. Not that it has to be realistic but don't think I'll accept anything with Terminator in front of it, give me a chick with some meat on her bones ffs.
