Capcom Japan released a new game play video of Tatsunoko VS Capcom, their upcoming Japan-only Wii brawler. In this video, Saki and Joe of Capcom go up against Ippatsuman and Doronjo of Tatsunoko, and it's clear who has the upper hand.

The best part of this game play video is when Viewitiful Joe gets the spotlight. Joe's super move is hilarious. Watch on as the Tatsunoko team hops on their tandem bike to get the hell away from Joe's destructive attack.

In the gallery screenshots, you'll also see images of Wii-only minigames from the characters. Saki's game involves shooting meteorites out of the sky to defend space. The goal is to take down as man as you can before time runs out. Viewitiful Joe's game looks a bit more fun. In it, you'll photograph Joe on the move, aiming to get his whole body in frame.

Ippatsu's minigame is a baseball target toss, while Doronjo's has players tossing bombs at the player while they try to collect treasures.

Japan gets their turn December 11th. We're still hoping.

Do want.
Must... import...

I can say I do recongize some of the Tatsunoko lineup, I think.
I remember seeing some odd anime about poeple in bird like super hero suits on Cartoon Network or something.
Enough reason to release the game in the states.
Right? Right?

i love the cel-shaded style. i wish SF4 looked more like this, and I don't even mind SF4's style.

tatsunoko is pretty big in anime-friendly southern europe, so you never know.

They should put Dante from Devil May Cry series into this game. Dante would be a secret character like Akuma.

@shadow1w2:You're thinking of G-Force/Eagle Riders/Battle of the Planets (there were 3 English dubs), or Gatchaman in Japan. And yes, characters from that are in this game.

It's ass that this is only gonna be on the wii. Now I gotta do some questionable things in order to get the scratch to import it and buy a japanese wii.

The best way to import this without using a Freeloader or importing a Japanese Wii would be to do the Twilight Hack since there's a thing called Gecko OS which is a homebrew that lets you play import games. Check wiibrew.org for more info.

Fap fap fap fap fap. I'm surprised there were no DMC or RE characters in this.

I still want Arthur to be a playable character. Yes, I'm talking about Arthur from Ghouls N' Ghosts / Ghouls N' Goblins.

I hope Capcom bring this game to the west, but after us missing out on Namco VS Capcom rpg on PS2, I don't hold much hope for it.

On a wing and a prayer, maybe. This game is still on my Wii want list, and I don't even have a Wii yet.

I hope that is not Joe's stage, looks too bland. His moves look spot on though.

Ah isn't that what SF4 is for? The Wii has to have something to do with Street Fighter, and well this is it. I'm sure lots of people would say if they can do this game on the Wii than why not put a SF4 on the Wii in this style as well. This game looks great so SF4 could totally work too if done right!
