Tales fans are likely thrilled right around now that they are getting their own version of Dissidia in the form of Tales of VS. Well, Japanese fans, that is. The video after the jump debuted at the recent Tales Of Festival in Japan and shows off all the characters that have been revealed for the game so far. You'll also get to see basic attacks, Artes and the enviromental traps you can use to gain the advantage over your opponent.
So far there's no official US release date, but the game comes out in Japan on August 6th. However, Namco Bandai has trademarked both this title and Tales of Graces, so it looks hopeful that we will see it stateside in the long run.
@Cowboy TTop
It's always Namco Bandai who publishes the Tales games. If it was Atlus, we would have get ALL the Tales that didn't come over XD. (Destiny remake, Destiny 2, Rebirth, Tempest, Innocence, Heart) Damn, that makes a lot.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
