New Super Mario Bros. 2 is all about the pre-order bonus

Besides being ALL ABOUT THE COINS, it seems as if Nintendo is going to offer you something for pre-ordering New Super Mario Bros. 2 -- specifically, a off-colored gold coin 3DS cartridge case. In light of this news, it's also important to note that NSMB 2 will be one of the first fully downloadable digital games on the 3DS.

Sadly, the aforementioned bonus is only offered at GAME and Gamestation stores across the UK. Mario is no stranger to pre-order bonuses however, so hopefully we can get some worldwide action going with this one. If it ends up coming to other regions, we'll let you know.

According to Nintendo, in addition to holding 3DS games, it can hold "any number of small objects." Holy sh*t!
