And is the Okami-like art style only a part of the concept art? Here I was thinking that 3D SF would try to do something different with the 3D medium...
What I do like about SF4 is the deliberate way in which Capcom have made it look old, it doesn't look shiny, plastic, it isn't plastered with attention seeking HD textures. It looks dusty and old and analogue instead of digital, it looks lived in and I like that. That side of the art direction is welcome, a kind of low-fi step back in the past using new tech to make old games look how they always wanted to (which is what the Star Wars prequels should have done), but other than that, SF4 so far looks quite underwhelming.
What matters most is how the game plays when its moving. For a game like this, static screens won't do it justice, I'll judge Abel's moves then. SFIV is still gonna sell and I'll gladly buy a copy for my 360.
Capcom won't disappoint. Bonus points if you can't control when he changes, but he changes every 30 seconds or after certain triggers, making him more technical, and totally playing into the fact that he has amnesia, and has no clue what the hell is going on.
Look what happened to assassins creed? I think we need to slow our roll.
I think he looks good, great color scheme.
Horrible Valentines Day Guile is having......
Hmmm
Why Penis?
Capcom needs a new character designer...I'm just saying
I'm starting to wish it really was his hat and not an optical illusion =(
I'm giving a big fat MEH.
And just as unwelcome as he was in the UFC, he is unwelcome in my street fighter.
I already hate him.
Who are we talking about again?
