New strategy hotness: Spectral Force 3 screenshots photo

Hey, it's me again: your resident SRPG/JRPG whore. I'm also a bit of an Atlus whore, and that's why I'm sharing with you the new Spectral Force 3 screenshots they just sent us.

Spectral Force 3 sounded super sexy when we first heard about it late last year. At the time, many of you fellow whores joined me in welcoming Atlus as an official 3rd party publisher for the Xbox 360, but we haven't heard much about the game since then.

All you really need to know is that this title is the first strategy RPG for the Xbox 360, as well as the US debut of Idea Factory's Spectral Force series of games. I suppose that the kickass anime art, deep strategy play, and slick visuals are also worth mentioning. The story doesn't seem like anything special, but they almost never are with SRPGs. Besides, you'll probably be too wrapped up in the 150+ missions to care!

We're still looking forward to more details, though Atlus hasn't given us much yet. Keep an eye on the official Web page for Spectral Force 3. This title launches on May 27th.

Does this look like something you're interested in picking up? Won't it feel weird to play SRPGs on an Xbox 360?

I've never played anything outside the Spectral Vs. Generation game but it wasn't like i was never interested.

I may pick up. just cause it's SRPG.

MMMM more SRPG goodness, now if i could only actually finish disgaea this would be a good next game. Not to mention it's from atlus so you know it won't be a complete and udder bomb, it might not be the best but it won't be a bomb either

I guess as a PS3 owner... I need to go Disgaea 3 with its super awesome graphics(?).

Why only 360 damn you!

I don't think I would buy it even if I had a 360 though. It doesn't spark any special interest, and I generally love SRPGs.

I'm more interested in how Valkyria and Disgaea 3. As well as Final Fantasy Tactics A2 than this.

Nice to see they've bumped up the graphical quality from the PSP...

Meh, it's lacking werewolf nazis.

Doesn't quite do it for me, but an 80% (or better) of this on a handheld could probably get me... if I owned a handheld. I don't think console is the right platform for an SRPG (though I'm not against it. I am for console RPGs.)

Damn. Hopefully White Knight Chronicles, Valkyrie of the Battlefield(or its new name that escapes me), Disgaia 3, Final Fantasy 13, (hopefully) Star Ocean 4 and others will help me get over this... Sometimes, in a blue moon, I envy you 360 owners.

This looks fun. I'm always glad for some SRPG goodness, especially from atlus.

I've heard nothing but bad things about Idea Factory games. They're supposed to be boring and trite nonsense. I'd be wary of dropping $60 on a game of theirs; this might be a rental for me.

I'm much more excited about Operation: Darkness than about this.

I like the graphics! And more for the xbox please! I find myself buying 1 game then by the time I beat it the newest game is on sale so I can buy that one and the cycle doesn't end, at least yet. So bring this soon cause I'm running out of games.

Today, I realize I am a fanboy whore. Above, I see nothing but "this game will be garbage believe me" and yet all I can think is "how soon can I buy this SRPG that has Atlus' name attached?"

Seriously. I even played Suikoden Tactics and liked it. I am an SRPG fanboy. Can you be a genre fanboy?
