If you have ever listened to RetroforceGO!, you know that I once loved Sonic very much. Unfortunately after watching him in every freaking possible idea for a game imaginable I lost my taste for the little blue guy. I felt the franchise had just been mangled for the sake of the almighty dollar, and as a result I just ignored all the titles with his name in them.
Until now, that is. Bioware's RPG take on Sonic and friends has actually made me excited for a Sonic game for the first time in years, and I have a feeling I'm not alone on that emotion. I'll be keeping a close eye on this one as it gets closer to its release date, which is supposed to be sometime this year. Make it clap, Bioware!
The trailer look s cheezy, the gameplay looks slow. Yet, I know I'm going to buy it anyhow. I hope the story is presented in a similar comic book style to what is in the trailer though.
Ya...
i'm not seeing any reason to get excited over this... the trailer seems so very "meh"
Also... i think i'd rather they lean towards a more comical storyline/tone than a serious one... considering the characters, a comical storyline feels like it would fit much better... a good laugh can make up for a lot of shortcomings
I thought I took control of the dark brotherhood in Tamriel. Now they're attacking Mobius without my consent? Who is the leak so that I may slay them?!
Yeah, that trailer was terrible, but I'm still interested in the game, simply because it's BioWare. I've never been a Sonic fan anyway, so I've haven't been subjected to the rollercoaster of Sonic fandom.
Wow. You know, given the modest power of a hand held system, I hardly expected that kind of platform to get movie-styled trailers. Ever get the feeling that even the most flaky corporate executives secretly roll their eyes when they see the finished promotional material?
Out of place music is out of place. If they really want to make a Sonic RPG, they should havemade something that wasn't so slow-moving and turn-based, as well.

Also... I like Eggman...
Sonic Boom[/url]!
Oh, and I like eggs...man...
You're wrong, Eggman fucking sucks. Long live Dr. Robotnik
I'm still excited though.

When you're a franchise like sonic and you've fallen so far, you've gotta restart small.
..and cheesy. Same with the music.
Looks interesting though, but my optimism at this point is fueled pretty much only by the fact that BioWare is developing this game.
