So Singularity should have come out last year. Not because it Raven Software had completed the game, or because it would have made financial sense for Activision to release it among a holiday of huge releases. No, Singularity should have been out last year because I want it, damn it.

The game's crazy time-shifting mechanics has my attention, as does the ability to be able to turn someone into a skeleton with said mechanic. While many people have written the game off as another generic shooter, from what I've seen, Singularity is anything but. But that's only what I've seen... I still haven't played it yet.

But I will soon -- it's supposedly out this June for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. No more delays, Bobby Kotick, or I'll turn you into steaming pile of flesh and bones. You've been warned.

I heard that you could also deage as well as super age them into skeletons, but I may be mistaken. Hopefully the game will make the time powers more integrated, then say only several key instances on the map like, ugh Timeshift. If they do it could be a really cool game.

I think the delay a side-effect of the time-shifting mechanic. looks good. I'd buy it, but i'm going to need to try some research.

Hmmmm....this looks promising. Good production values, nice set pieces, fun creatures. Looks like your time gauntlet also acts as a telekinetic device of sorts. That's always a hoot. I'll keep an eye on this to see how it plays.

@Jet Jaguar

From the preview I read a while back you have full control of your time shifting abilities, but I think it's got a bit of recharge time. There are certain environmental key instances of course, but I think you're free to enjoy aging people to dust or de-aging them into primordial goo at your whim.

I thought it looked fairly good when I first saw it awhile back, but I'd forgo this game and turn a good portion of Earth's population into skeletons just to see motherfuckin' TIMESPLITTERS 4 instead! Now there's a time-travel game series that knows how to fucking doitrite.

This game has been in my GameFly queue for like ten years.

Holy crap-balls, that looked awesome as hell. Reminds me of Half-Life mixed with Bioshock and then slightly butt-raped by a little Portal. And it comes out 2 days after the day of my birthyness. Awesome.

Lol, this game looks amazingly gimmicky. Wonder how long it takes for that time manipulation shit to get really old and boring. Hey, remember Timeshift? Wasn't that game awesome!? No? Oh, right, this won't be either. Also, as a matter of principle, I don't buy Activision games.

If this game has Nazis in it, I don't want it. Get some new material. Also, Activision.

Sure, it's yet another shooter, but I think it looks pretty nifty. Also, was that some kind of remote-controlled bullet? That is a good thing.

Yes. Yes it was. And indeed, it is a great thing.

This might be my most anticipated game that's yet to come out.

Activision, make this happen quick.

Looks like Bioshock meets STALKER/Metro 2033 with the addition of the HL2 gravity gun + time mechanic. Seems interesting and the production value is noticeable. But, as someone else mentioned, I wonder how long the time mechanic will get old.

The remake of RTCW had the "Veil" concept that allowed you to pass through hidden walls that weren't there normally, but after using it for the 30th time in one level, it just became plain boring. The reason the gravity gun wasn't boring in HL2 was because you didn't have it from the start.

Combo between Half Life, Bioshock and Dead Space? Doesn't seem that original but it sure looks good.

Dammit. I've been looking forward to this. But I HATE Activision... But then again, I suppose I shouldn't hold that against the developers...

Dammit. What a conundrum.
