At least it LOOKS good.
A videogame Beast Wars reboot would be the Bumblebee's knees if for no other reason but to see what the characters would look like in proper modern polygonal models.
Dinobots are the next best thing so this one is worth a look even if there is no Dinobot(singular) in the game.

Personally, I'm just chalking it up to laziness. The PC has gotten WAY more attention this generation than last, but I think some developers are still too scared to give it the same support as consoles, unfortunately.
I read your article about the first Transformers for the PC, and it was very well written. One of the nice things about PCs, though, is that games can be modded to hell and back -- That's how I played War for Cybertron in beautiful 60 fps. Now, as a consumer, should I have been the one to figure out how to make that work? No, absolutely not. It should have been programmed that way. But the fact that it's possible to modify it like that is nice.
And to the people wanting a Beast Wars game: It would be AMAZING but it'll never happen because Hasbro are real cockmunchers these days.
Thanks, glad you liked it. The main thing that irked me with that game was that the config files were inexplicably encrypted. You could have fixed most of the issues easily if they hadn't been, just using standard UT3 setting changes. Think a lot of it was figured out/hacked eventually, but it was long after I'd beaten the game :/
The only reason I think it might have influenced them was how they talked about it. They said they weren't doing a PC version because they didn't think they could do it decently, and that they felt they botched the PC version of the last game. Then again, most of the stuff I talked about in that article was easy to fix, so yeah maybe it is just them being too lazy.
In any case, I still think there's a small chance we'll see a PC port sometime after the console release. The PC market has gotten big and you'd think they'd want a piece of it.
Me, Grimlock say GIMME NAO!!!!!
Ah, I never messed with the config files. I just downloaded that press-0-to-unlock-the-framerate thing that surfaced -- I just had to have this 300 kb program running in the background as I played.
