New screenshots: Lair on the PS3

JapaFags spotted 12 new images of the elusive Lair on spanish gaming site UltimaGame, locked and loaded in the gallery below. As with previous previews, the texture work on the dragons are absolutely stunning. The most notable thing about these shots is the introduction of these strange manta/baracuda dragons shown above: A far departure from the traditional myth creatures we had seen in early builds of the game. The vast levels and water effects are also equally impressive -- it's nice to see that the much-hyped extra power under the hood is starting to finally come through in some games. If it plays as good as it's looking, I'm sold.
