I love the original Boom Blox. What a truly happy game -- not enough of those around these days! We've seen a little of what BOOM BLOX Bash Party is going to look like in recent trailers, and today EA released some new screens as well, which you can check out in the gallery. No matter how much people diss the Wii, there are some games you just can't argue are a blast to play on it, and this looks like it's going to be one of them.

EA has vocally expressed that this sequel will appeal even more to the core gamer than the first title, which ought to come as welcome words to the majority of people reading these words. We can also look forward to a fully overhauled graphics engine, full 3D backgrounds, and more levels than anyone in their right mind should know what to do with.
