New screens pop up for BOOM BLOX Bash Party photo

I love the original Boom Blox. What a truly happy game -- not enough of those around these days! We've seen a little of what BOOM BLOX Bash Party is going to look like in recent trailers, and today EA released some new screens as well, which you can check out in the gallery. No matter how much people diss the Wii, there are some games you just can't argue are a blast to play on it, and this looks like it's going to be one of them.

EA has vocally expressed that this sequel will appeal even more to the core gamer than the first title, which ought to come as welcome words to the majority of people reading these words. We can also look forward to a fully overhauled graphics engine, full 3D backgrounds, and more levels than anyone in their right mind should know what to do with. It'll be out this May, and I can't wait to get my hands on it. Are you looking forward to this one as well?

Looking entertaining as always. Only problem I had with the first one was that it hurt my shoulder to play after so long.

I dunno. I loved the first Boom Blox, but I can't really think of any reasons why I'd want a sequel. If I want to play again, I'll just play my copy of Boom Blox 1.

The first Boom Blox was great, but the fact that his one is the same and MORE with the 400 extra levels and the DLC and several gravities is the reason why i'll own it.

Is there going to be new gameplay modes or something? Cause I don't see anything that awe inspiring to warrant a sequel.
