Remember us showing you a trailer for Orgarhythm? We called it a blend of music and RTS that looked like a cross between Pikmin and Space Channel 5, and that sounded great, but then I watched that stupid trailer.

But now that I know more about it, I'm pumped again. XSEED says that in this upcoming Vita game you'll play as the God of Light, controlling elemental dancing soldiers to go up against the God of Darkness, using rhythm-based attacks. Any game where I can play as a god and use music as a weapon is going to be a winner.

And my music should be a weapon! XSEED says that they're accepting submissions from musicians to be considered for future DLC packs for Orgarhythm. I'm hoping I can phone this one in.

These new screens would go great with my music.

E3: Orgarhythm is hard to explain, but fun to play

Orgarhythm is the most difficult game I’ve ever tried to explain. In fact, XSEED had a hard time explaining it to me. It wasn’t until I played it that I was fully able to understand what it was all about. A hybrid...more

Last week, Jonathan Holmes talked about a new advertisement for Orgarhythm, a combination rhythm and real-time strategy game he likened to a cross between Pikmin and Space Channel 5. I’m inclined to throw a Patapon comp...more

Making multiplayer music in Fantasia: Music Evolved

Harmonix revealed a multiplayer mode for Fantasia: Music Evolved at GDC last week alongside some new songs and levels. I jumped in front of a Kinect sensor to try out the new mode, and it wasn't long before I was flapping my arms to the beat.  Can't you hear that boom, badoom, boom, boom, badoom, boom, bass?    more
