Here are some new screens for DmC: Devil May Cry, a game scientifically proven to be the worst game ever made because of something. Seriously though, check out the screens, as well as a bit of art depicting Dante and his signature weapons.
Everything looks quite pretty, but these may very well be the reddest screenshots I've ever seen. This must clearly take place on Mars, and I have decided DmC is now set in the Total Recall universe. Man, that would be cool.

kthxbye
Other than that I'm cautiously optimistic for this game.
Hype. Fuck the haters.
This article and the "Waking Mars" review is making me want to watch Total Recall.
I lol'd hard.
I didn't like Enslaved because I thought that the gameplay was mediocre, whether it be the combat or the shoehorned-in projectile-firing segments. And the characters weren't very well... characterized. Except Trip, but not a lot and not well enough for me.
That said, shut up DMC fanboys. Give Ninja Theory a chance. Then after you play it (or at least read reviews) and you think they fucked up, complain to your heart's content.
Mainly because ever since the first DMC he has been far and away my favorite video game hero.
This studio really doesn't have the best track record for gameplay. I mean Enslaved was awesome but not because of it's gameplay.
forget this game.
We've already given Ninja Theory 2 chances, with Heavenly Sword and Enslaved.
Both games were choppy, slow action games with a 30FPS limit. That studio simply can't make an action game on the level DMC got it's fans accustomed to.
I just don't trust Ninja Theory at all. Enslaved's combat was completely generic and forgettable.
I just don't see them pulling it off. This game has 6/10 written all over it.
That's why Im not sure why Jim is defending this game. Gameplay wise it will probably be fun, but story wise it's looking bad.
"DmC's Dante is a young man who has no respect for authority or indeed society in general. Dante knows that he is not human, but also that he is not like the demons that have tormented him throughout his life. Caught between worlds, he feels like an outcast.
"Dante grew up in various institutions, orphanages, youth correction facilities and foster homes but these were mostly operated by demons and often resulted in torture and violence.
"Dante has therefore developed a deep hatred of demons and authority in general but tries to stay incognito. He sides with the little guy, the victims of what he sees as an unfair society."
Sounds like something from fanfiction.net. Not that DMC games have ever been a narrative tour-de-force, but still.
When in the fuck has their ever been a "good" story in a Devil May Cry game?
I was not disappointed.
Don't forget Kung-Fu Chaos!
And by murder their lives I mean shake their hands and quietly walk away.
"but these may very well be the "raddest" screenshots I've ever seen"
So Stoked For THIS Game! :D
