Dante looks like Justin Bieber after being dumped.
Other than that I'm cautiously optimistic for this game.

The gameplay just seems so lackluster. Then again it's Ninja Theory. Their gameplay is always mediocre. I don't expect much from this.

This article and the "Waking Mars" review is making me want to watch Total Recall.

Yeah, when they added something to the game, that was a deal breaker for me.

I didn't like Enslaved because I thought that the gameplay was mediocre, whether it be the combat or the shoehorned-in projectile-firing segments. And the characters weren't very well... characterized. Except Trip, but not a lot and not well enough for me.

That said, shut up DMC fanboys. Give Ninja Theory a chance. Then after you play it (or at least read reviews) and you think they fucked up, complain to your heart's content.

Think less of me if you will, but I still don't like what they've done to Dante.

Mainly because ever since the first DMC he has been far and away my favorite video game hero.

DMC is shaping up nicely in becoming this years X-Men Destiny, complete with last gen graphics and boring gameplay.

Everything in this game looks good.. well, besides Dante of course.

I'm more excited over the HD collection than I am this game.

I just don't trust Ninja Theory at all. Enslaved's combat was completely generic and forgettable.

I just don't see them pulling it off. This game has 6/10 written all over it.

The thing is, they are going to turn DMC into a game that was in your face, serious at times, and fun into a game that is emo fest the whole time. Did you not hear about the story so far about how Dante in this grew up on the streets and orphanages that were run by demons that tortured him and now he has a huge vendetta against the world. Get ready for complaining the ENTIRE game.

That's why Im not sure why Jim is defending this game. Gameplay wise it will probably be fun, but story wise it's looking bad.

I like the environment and enemy art. I still hate their version of Dante. I don't expect Ninja Theory to create anything better than mediocre.
