Maybe this could be the Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly of Metal Gear. xD
I wonder if we'll get any update on this. That enemy clipping through the box is awesome.
Then again, I'm not a stickler for graphics, so I don't really care. Plus, I've never even played a MSG game, so I don't even know what I'm doing here.
But maybe this is an elaborate ARG/joke that will be part a section of the game where Raiden travels into the last console generation to stop some something from happening or something. Don't the previous games in the series have weird off-the-wall or 4th-wall-breaking sequences?
I didn't expect amazing graphics anyway. As long as the action is good, I'm fine with the way it looks.
In this one a car is just floating above the ground.
pfffft hahahaha didn't even notice that one. These just get even worse with every passing minute.
and wtf the the crates look like from those on the PS2
The one with the floating car, the one with the enemy halfway through a box, the one where all of a sudden half the environment don't cast shadow. Pick anyone you like.
i mean, its still hideous and incompetent on every level, but its not like we could have expected better
+1 for a Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly reference. I tip my hat to you sir.
On topic, looks can be deceiving. The early showings of this game have been flashy trailers and scripted demos. As I've been saying from day one, this is probably going to be a modern Snake's Revenge. Kojima will disown it, it wont be canon, and we'll all forget it existed it 10 years.
But I'm not even bothered that this got greenlit because Kojima is making MGS5 proper. Though I guess Peace Walker was technically supposed to be that, and it delivered for the most part. But still. Real console Metal Gear. Fuck yes.
Has anybody considered the possibility that these screens could have taken of the early build of MGR? The one before the second director took over?
