New Revenant Wings screenshots, courtesy of the French photo

I can't read a word of French. Sure, I know how to tell you that you smell like a filthy prostitute rank with the scent of a hundred hungry patrons, but who doesn't know how to say that? La putain de ta m'ere! Seriously though, thanks to Jeux - France, we have new art and screenies from Final Fantasy 12: Revenant Wings for you to peruse and perhaps rub your private parts upon. For you old school RPG fans, this game ought to be a delight. (Translation: I can't wait.)

Looks like code cobbled together from FF3DS and FFTA. I'll probably buy it anyway, because I'm a sucker.

2D graphics - yes. Other than that, I can't see why this would appeal to "old school" RPG fans. Unless you mean the pen and paper variety, which might feel some attraction to the use of a stylus.

FFXII Revenant Wings : In Action

Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings on Nintendo DS returned to us today thanks to some of these images, admittedly not new, but of great quality, always drawn from the Japanese magazine Famitsu. It will be necessary to be patient still for more information on the game but our Japanese gamer friends are able to tell us that the main character Vaan and his friend Penelo are in the new adventure. Leader of the (development?) of the RPG on Nintendo DS did not have the time to give us a confirmed release date. (Or a date for more information)

Update: The images supplied of Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings were taken again from the Japanese magazine V-Jump.

Should I e-mail this to the article writer so he can include it? It's not a perfect translation, cause my french is somewhat limited, but its pretty much all there.
