My pick for this week is Big Bang Mini. It's a fun addicting little game for the DS and it's only going for $19.99. And yes, it's actually out this week! Check out this extremely random interview I did for more info on Big Bang Mini.
Not much else really interests me this week. What's looking sw33t to you? Hit the jump for the full list of releases and trailers for some of the games.
Hamza Aziz, Destructoid's Community Director, has been here since day one. He was born when a tiger coughed up a hairball into a pool of ooze. He was one of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before budget cuts. Hamza works as a previews editor and manages a team in San Francisco. To date he has given away tens of thousands of dollars in prizes to readers. What a dick. Actually, Hamza is as kind as he is hairy.

The way that I see it, Persona 4 was my perfect RPG, with every single niggling annoyance I had from P3 completely erased. And yet if Ar Tonelico II improves the same way then that would also have to be my perfect RPG.
Despite being completely oppositional styles, both are PS2 RPG's and from the looks of it the finest ones for the PS2 to end on... if it wants to. In the future if they could just release them as downloadable PSN/XBLA games that'd be great too. I mean to hell with memory limits, why not?
I've had Ar Tonelico II ordered for some time - hopefully RosenQueen will get it to me sometime this week. I was pleasantly surprised by the first, and this one sounds (mostly) improved over it, so I'm pretty eager.
I'm half-tempted by Star Ocean 2, but I already have it (slightly banged-up, but still) on the PS1, and already forked out for First Departure, which was updated to play almost exactly like the sequel.
i do want skate 2, but feel that it will be less than spectacular due in part to an abbreviated dev. cycle. i get it, the first skate was a hit, but you don't have to rush the sequel out for more bank, rite? from what i've seen/read/played, skate 2 could have used more time marinating in skate-sauce for a fuller flavor.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
That game is awesome
Psht... I remember the days when developers didn't string random letters together to come up with titles.

"Crawd has advanced forward, heh!"

I'm in the midst of playing the first Star Ocean, so I'll be having fun with that before its European release.
