Well not a whole hell of a lot interest me at all this week. Mirror's Edge is a must for PC fans that skipped the console versions. Lord of the Rings: Conquest could be fun, but all of the feedback from the community has made decide to skip it. The only title I'm really interested in is Moon and I'm meeting up with the developers of the game to check it out later this week.
What's looking sw33t to you all this week? Hit the break to see the full list of releases and videos for some of the games.
Note: Few corrections from last week's releases: Big Bang Mini was pushed back until next week, Retro Game Challenges is coming out in Februrary and Elebits: Adventures of Kai & Zerowas released last week for the Nintendo DS.
I'm gonna agree with randombullseye. LOTR could be fun, I really like battlefront back in the day and the demo wasn't very painful, plus I am always excited about games with actual split screen.
I swear Konami tries to hide the existence of half their games or something. Played the Elebits game a bit and it seems pretty fuckin' awesome so far. Too bad I can't actually afford DS anymore.
All the things you used to do in your neighborhood as a child — play football and basketball, shoot slingshots and water pistols, fly your model airplane — are now collected into 24 “family games” that you can play indoors!
Pros: It shows a lot of different children playing a lot of different games.
Cons: Perhaps I was severely deprived as a child but I never played any of these games (I just rode my bike or went swimming). So I’m not entirely sure how these make for interesting mini-games.
