New releases this week: Mirror's Edge, Call of Duty: WaW, Banjo Kazooie and more photo

Mirror's Edge is my top choice for the week. I can't help but wonder how fast I'm going to get bored with the game though. While the game is beautiful and fresh, I feel it's going to get beyond repetitive after the third of fourth level.

Call of Duty: World at War is another game on my must get list. To be honest, I'm mostly going to get it because of the zombie mulitplayer mode. Sure, Left 4 Dead is just around the corner, but I still want it. My hunger for zombie games is insatiable.

What's looking sw33t to you this week, Dtoiders? As always, hit the jump to see the full list of releases and videos for the games coming out this week.

What a huge schwack of games.

I'm with you on Mirrors Edge, I want the game but I cant help in thinking that it's going to get old very fast. WaW looks neat and I need a good online face shooter game for my PS3 as LBP does not deliver in that needed area.

"My hunger for zombie games is insatiable"

Well, zombies hunger for brains are insatiable as well...coincedence or a stab at something punny?

Eternal Poison and Tales of Symphonia 2. I'm also STILL looking for Theresia. Mirror's Edge will have to wait until I have more money and time.

I swear, we had like a month and a half of no good releases, and yet I think my backlog grew anyway. This isn't fair, I tell you.

I'm probably gonna grab WaW for some Veteran's Day fun, and I'm getting Mirror's Edge for Christmas due to lack of monies. I have the utmost faith in Miror's Edge, though (lol).

Gears 2 was my last purchase until L4D and that will be my last for the year. I still have barely touched Fable and Fallout...jesus.

I'll be picking up Mirror's Edge this week, and my preordered copy of the Wrath of the Lich King: Collector's Edition should be arriving in the mail soon.

Tales of Symphonia: Dawn New World, Mirror's Edge, Eternal Poison are good bets. Call of Duty 5 will be sitting on the subs bench.

Interesting to see Populous there...

That new populous ds game looks like shit compared to the old PC one. I fuckin loved that game. :[

Mirrors edge will be mine.

I've heard nothing but good things about COD4, though I've never played it, but I liked the WaW Beta.. HMMMMMM...
I'm REALLY on the fence as to wether I want to get COD:WaW or COD4... Any suggestions?

I haven't even beaten Fable 2 and Gears 2 yet(mostly due to my 360 still being repaired). After those 2 it's gonna be L4D for me, with everything else either waiting to be a Christmas present or a cheap used purchase somewhere down the line.

I was planning on buying Mirror's Edge, but word on the interweb is that it's only 5-6 hours long and that's too damn short. As such, it's now been added to my rental queue.

Oh yeah! I love when my wallet gets raped like this. I bought a new Sony 37" 1080p 120hz LCD for my room, Gears 2, Fable 2, Fallout 3, Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia for DS, another Wiimote/nunchuk for the girlfriend candidates and seems I still need to get Left 4 Dead.

No Mirrors Edge or Dead Space or any shit related to EA by that matter.

When I will get time to play them? I'll probably pay a faux doctor to get an excuse for a week off with the obligatory follow ups after lunch time.

I feel as if the game companies are a bully from middle school. Holding my arm proverbially behind my back, as if in a suplex of financial torture. Having to shell out the cash for whatever game relieves the pain for just a week or two... Until another game comes along.

As for what game I'm getting? I wanted Banjo-Kazooie, but I'm to broke to afford it. Left 4 Dead is a major go though!

come on, it seriously beats out Mirror's Edge
What the hell though. How do these ideas get produced. Are you supposed to replace the cigarette with blowing into the mic? Every time you are about to relapse, whip out your handy-dandy DS to combat every urge.
Sequel in the works, My Stop Drinking Coach!

I preordered Mirror's Edge from Gamestop.com for the bag over the weekend. It would be nice if they sent me the time trial code for the demo like they were supposed to. Oh well.

Also, Banjo is ordered. Yay free Banjo-Kazooie on XBLA code!
