This week’s releases reminds me of a boxing match. In the PS3 corner, we have Resistance 2. In the Xbox 360 corner, we have Gears of War 2. Both games are system exclusives, have stories where humans are desperately trying to fight against impossible odds, and both games have about five different colors throughout the entire game.
Also new this week is James Bond 007: Quantum of Solace. While the previews have impressed me, I'm going to wait until after I see the movie in theaters.

I'll be staying away from R2, as I didn't care much for the first game and didn't like the R2 open beta that much. As for GoW 2, I'll probably pick it up sometime in the future. Maybe after L4D.
Resistance 2 is Much more colorful then the first game, and the beta showed that off to me, I wasn't impressed with the art direction in the first game (even though i found it fun) but the second game looks beautiful artistically from what I've seen. But I'll have to find out for sure when my box from amazon.com arrives. It's definitely more colorful then Gears, which is a shame that Epic can't make games colorful again....ut2004 was beautiful and had TONS of color.
Quantum of Solace AKA Gears of Bond AKA Call of Duty 4: Bond Edition is ok. A little short but fun. Multi is decent. Good for achievement whores. Might wanna rent it first.

Exit on the PSP was absolutely amazing. One of the best puzzle platformers I've ever played. That being said, I'm waiting a few days on Exit DS because I heard that the stylus controls are absolute shit and I want to confirm there are button controls before I buy. I'm 99% positive there are, but you never know with these wacky DS developers.
Also: Theresia is finally out this week, even though it was SUPPOSED to be out last week. I'll be picking that up for sure.
I've been playing through Valkyria Chronicles (for once us Europeans get something before you Americans :p) and it's simply amazing, everyone who's got a PS3 should at least try it. I would be getting Resistance 2 if it was coming out this week instead of at the end of the month, stupid SCEE...
You've managed to get a copy of Valkyria Chronicles, Mr Pibb? I went around all the shops and they said it was out but they weren't stocking it. Then I ordered it online and they're also awaiting stock.
Gears 2 This week for me and I'll be picking up my copy of Fallout 3 I haven't been able to pick up just yet, but I don't mind since I had LBP to occupy my time.
Yeah seriously... even with Deadspace, Fallout 3, Socom on the shelf and the R2 Beta (All fantastic games from what I've seen), I keep turning on LBP!?
