New releases: Start xenomorph hunting in Aliens
It looks like it's going to be a slightly quiet week for new releases, with only two titles really on my radar. Personally, I'm a bit relieved, as I have a ton of catching up to do. First up, we've long Aliens: Colonial Marines bursting out of chests and onto hard drives everywhere. We've not had a decent Alien game in a while other than the superb Aliens: Infestation for the DS, but I'm not really sure that Colonial Marines is going to change that. Still, I'm always happy to slaughter xenomorphs, and hopefully it will be even more fun with a pal. Other than that, we've got Cyanide Studio's Impire, which, from what I've played of it, is a rather wonderful strategy title in the vein of Dungeon Keeper; Brain Age game drops on the 3DS, testing the mental abilities of the gullible; Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken comes to the Vita; The Plan hits Mac and PC; and a bunch of games spread to new platforms like very welcome viruses. Anything tempting you this week? Xbox 360: Aliens: Colonial Marines, Omerta: City of Gangsters PS3: Aliens: Colonial Marines, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Dragonborn PC: Aliens: Colonial Marines, Impire, The Plan, Omerta: City of Gangsters (Boxed version), SpellForce 2 Faith in Destiny Scenario 3: Last Stand 3DS: Brain Age: Concentration Training, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed Bonus Edition Vita: Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken, Ecolibrium Android: Celtic Tribes iOS: Sela the Space Pirate, Mashed Up Monkeys PSN: Persona 4 Arena, Alien Breed, Everybody Dance, YU-GI-OH! 5D’s Decade Duels Plus Impire (PC)
