New releases: Skulls of the Shogun will slay you
Monday has once again arrived, so you know the drill: it's another week of new releases. We're leaving January behind in a somewhat subdued fashion, but there's certain to be something that will catch your eye. Skulls of the Shogun has caught my eye this week, though lamentably it's only dropping on platforms I have no access to. Maybe it's time for me to upgrade to Windows 8? Nah, probably not. Regardless, it looks like a fun strategy romp for those who like to chuckle while commanding undead minions. Other than that, there's co-op shenanigans in the form of the medieval theme park scrapfest, Dungeonland; the IGE award-winning Antichamber drops on PC; Omerta: City of Gangsters opens its doors to prospective mobsters; you can shoot people in the face and make things go "boom!" in Heavy Fire: Shattered Spear; the 3DS gets some love thanks to Bloody Vampire and Witch's Cat; play the most hardcore sport of them all in Let's Fish! Hooked On; and more platforms get Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed and Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault. This and a whole lot more magically appears this week. Anything floating your boat? Xbox 360: Skulls of the Shogun, Heavy Fire: Shattered Spear, Hitman HD Trilogy PS3: Heavy Fire: Shattered Spear, Hitman HD Trilogy PC: Skulls of the Shogun (Windows 8 only), Antichamber, Omerta: City of Gangsters (Digital version), Dungeonland, Heavy Fire: Shattered Spear, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed 3DS: Bloody Vampire, Witch's Cat Vita: Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault, Let's Fish!
