New releases: Saints Row, Rayman, Assassin's Creed & more

Rayman Origins is out this week for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and Wii and it's my main highlight over everything this week. Yes, Saints Row: The Third, Assassin's Creed: Revelations, and Super Mario 3D Land all deserve attention, and that's exactly why Rayman is my standout. There are some huge games Rayman is going up against and the last thing I want to see is this beautiful game get buried under the pile.

Other biggies this week include Need for Speed: The Run, Jurassic Park: The Game, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary. What's looking sweet to you?

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD releasing in March 2015

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is launching worldwide next March, Square Enix announced today. The remastered role-playing game will debut in North America on March 17, followed by releases in Japan on March 19 and Europe on March 20. The publisher also confirmed a downloadable demo of Final Fantasy XV will come included with the package.more

Shantae and the Pirate's Curse launches next month

WayForward is targeting a mid-October release for Shantae and the Pirate's Curse in the United States, the developer announced this week via Twitter. No word on a specific date just yet. The studio also indicated the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS platformer will have a later arrival across Europe and Australia due to the localization and submission processes. Please understand.
