Waiting on MK7 from amazon. UPS trolled me saying it would be out for early delivery today, but they just changed it back to tomorrow. I played off my sister's copy as a Shy Guy, and its fairly fun, and not as stale as I expected it to be, still looking forward to playing online.
I will never buy another nintendo system at launch. They hyped the system up with all these games. Then promised that we would get worthwhile games at the end of the year. Sure we got mario but I guess I must be getting sick of it as a played to world 4 and really have no desire to go back. And we got mario kart 7 but seems like we could play the ds one and get the same experience minus online. I really want the the 3ds to be better but it seems like that wont happen till maybe the end of next year.Hell even my excitement for vita has gone way done after all the crap they've done. No BC with ps1 games really.
Been playing MK7 all day. Tintin looks pretty good, too. Might hold off until Christmas, depending on how 3DS-specific reviews are for it.
I got MK7 yesterday, it's not that bad as jim sterling describes but the single player is largely the same, however what make it brilliant is the multiplayer, which is totally functional and incredibly fun to play, I think it's totally worth it.
Mario Kart 7 is my favorite in the series and one of the best games this year imo. Planning on getting Nano Assault tomorrow.
Nano Assault also launches for the 3DS this week (tomorrow) it was delayed from it's original Nov. date until the 6th of December.
Also, for the record Mario Kart 7 is phenomenal. Seriously, one of if not the best Mario Karts yet. Must buy.

I'm glad that some people like it. It's still pretty fun. Of course, it all could be ironically liking it here and you get banned if you don't only like it ironically, in which case I'm screwed :(

Mario Kart 7 is an absolute BLAST. Been playing online with a website I frequent and have been having hilarious and bullshit moments since yesterday. Also, I haven't lagged or witnessed lagging at all, even as Steam raped my bandwidth and I was playing with someone from Germany.

Na, he's says the same tired old stuff, and his become a bit predictable, the fakes were much more entertaining, and his constantly out for a certain someone who has a different opinion then him. After a while, I just started rolling my eye's whenever I even see his name.
Anyway, from the releases I am getting VI and that's about it, I'll jump on mario kart on a later date.

I hate to say it but Oregon Trail for the 3DS has my interest piqued.. I just wish I could find more info on it then a gamesradar December release article.

Considering that christmas is coming, and I have a lot of fam that likes Monopoly, I might have to get Fortue Street soon. Mario Kart and TinTin can wait.
I hoe someone can help me, but is there a patch yet for Arkham city on PC? Not the Nvidia driver update (which is horrendous btw) but an actual game patch.

Picked up Mario Kart 7 yesterday and I'm having a blast with it. Jim's review is way off. It feels fresher than any game in the series since Double Dash. I love the hang gliding so much!
Mario Kart 7 is amazing and I haven't even played the online modes yet. I'm someone who has put more hours into Mario Kart DS and Wii online than all the Halos and CODs combined and if the online functions properly I don't see how this won't be my favorite game ever. So suck it, FAT TITS. I love you Jim but you really fucked up on this one.

MK7 is a hell of a time killer,I started it up to play a few races online,and I ended up playing 70.
The online is so smooth that it's kind of unbelievable,it gives me a LOT of hope that the 3DS Smash Bros will be as smooth as this.

Mario Kart 7 surprised me, i honestly expected the formula to have dried off and be stale by now. Sure, it's still just Mario Kart, but after 20 years, it shows Nintendo are doing something right! Really enjoyable and pleasent game that deserves a place as one of the best kart racers yet in my opinion.
