Another month, another Final Fantasy title with the latest being Final Fantasy IV for the Nintendo DS. Eventually, SquareEnix is going to run out of games to re-release so it's only a matter of time before Final Fantasy VII is remade. Unless SquareEnix decides to remake the remakes.
It's another slow week in the release schedule. I've had my eye on Izuna 2 for a while now, but in a perverted way and not in a "I actually want to play the game" way ... yep. What's looking sw33t to you this week?

Hamza Aziz, Destructoid's Community Director, has been here since day one. He was born when a tiger coughed up a hairball into a pool of ooze. He was one of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before budget cuts. Hamza works as a previews editor and manages a team in San Francisco. To date he has given away tens of thousands of dollars in prizes to readers. What a dick. Actually, Hamza is as kind as he is hairy.

...I hate to break this to you, but this FFIV is a remake, of a remake, of I think a remake. There is this copy, the copy for the GBA with all the bugs and glitches, and there was one done for the PlayStation (FF Chronicles). So now they will have to start doing remake of a remake of a remake of a remake!
As much as I hate to admit it, I'm buying FF4 DS myself. I know it's not really that great of a game, but the nostalgia blinders are way too bright on this one.
Yeah, Loki, I don't think I need another copy of FFIV.
The first three featured games I would definitely take an interest in. I already have New International Track and Field, and although it isn't as good as previous incarnations of T&F, I would like to say that several of the events are quite good compared to others.
You have to work hard to get good times, etc, but I've had a bit of fun finding out how to better at each event. I've also been involved in the online community, and I think its the first T&F to go online. I've spending time in tournaments and stuff, so there is extra enjoyment to be had on it. But I'll just inform you that if I was really honest, try getting one of the other games released this week first if you aren't so interested in what's involved in T&F games.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

Surprised Mummy isn't being shoved down people's throats on the 360/PS3.
