OH JOYOUS DAY INTERNETS! The dreadful drought that we have been plagued with for the past few weeks is over with for the Wii and Xbox 360. For the X360 we're getting the beautiful Forza Motorsport 2 and the really awesome looking Shadowrun (video above).
For the Wii, the 8th edition of the Mario Party series as well as Mortal Kombat: Armageddon is out this week. I'm interested in seeing how Mortal Kombat will do on the Wii. I've wondered how the more traditional type of fighting games would fare with the Wiimote.
Oh and have fun with with that penguin game PS3 owners. Seriously, Sony, what the hell?

shadowrun isnt all that great.having played the beta its mediocre at best.it does add some new things to fps like teleporting thru walls but thats about it.and the beta looked like CS.....
there is a demo coming out which has less features than the beta but id say download that before ya buy.very niche.

I'll probably get ActRaiser and just maybe Mario Party. About the others, im not much of a fan of racing games to get Forza and no Atelier Iris since i didn't play the other 2. Besides, i've got my hands full with Odin Sphere and my revisit to the starcraft universe.
Also, WTF is up with that Tamagotchi game? It doesn't make any sense 0_o!!!
No, it would be the greatest ad ever if after a while whatever is trying to escape her body actually burst forth in an explosion of gore and promoted alien eggs as a weight loss supplement.
Crush looks awesome. Though I fret that it will be lost into the depths of obscurity since it seems to have ZERO advertizing other than intertube banners that don't even BEGIN to give a hint of the game's sweet "crushing" mechanic.

Shadowrun is an awesome game. I beta tested it for 5 months and loved every second of it.
The learning curve is steep, but it is always fun. You don't have to be a good slayer to be a good teammate.
The game will feature 6 in depth training sessions to help with the steep learning curve.
At the very least check out the demo slated for June 6th.
Wow, I really didn't give a crap about Shadowrun until I just watched that video. Very nice. Also, will be picking up Forza 2 this week. Mmm, punishingly realistic racing. I love it.
Grrrrr Shadowrun...... I've been knee-deep into the tapletop RPG all my life. This game is a travesty! But still, I hope it will be popular, it would kick Microsoft's rear-end to produce a decent [mmo?]RPG out of the license.
Shadowrun is a great game but the frustration level can be very high as well . Especially if you're up against people who are very adept at using the interface to swap out skills on short notice. This isn't the kind of game you sit down stoned and attempt to play. I don't really see the PC players having it that much easier either.
After playing the beta for awhile the best advice I can give is to stick with a magic/tech/weapon loadout you're happy with and not attempt to swap around during the match until you get a lot more advanced.

Shadow Run looks better than I thought. Gonna wait omn the demo though.
