Nothing really major out this week. In fact, the best looking game of this week's bunch is a re-release. I played the first Lost Planet, but got sidetracked with other stuff and didn't get that far into the game. After getting some hands-on time with the new version a few months back, I really want to jump into it again. The new multiplayer modes were a lot of fun.
Not much else appeals to me this week. What's looking sw33t to you?

Hamza Aziz, Destructoid's Community Director, has been here since day one. He was born when a tiger coughed up a hairball into a pool of ooze. He was one of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before budget cuts. Hamza works as a previews editor and manages a team in San Francisco. To date he has given away tens of thousands of dollars in prizes to readers. What a dick. Actually, Hamza is as kind as he is hairy.

Metal Slug on VC almost isn't worth it, you can pick up Metal Slug Anthology for only slightly more than that and get 7 games instead of just the one.
I WOULD be interested in Monkey King if Castle of Shikigami hadn't launched last week. I'm got my shmup fix for the next year or so.
I might get Dodgeball Brawlers eventually, but not this week. I <3 Aksys srsly, but I never played the original so I have no fond memories to attract me to the game.
Probably look at getting Mass Effect and Stronghold Crusader Extreme, just to relieve some memories of the original game. Namely filling a large square with tar, and enclosing a bunch of slaves in there, and then getting some archers to set them all on fire... Those were the days.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

They showed it do the same thing like 6 times, only with different scenery.

I'm a big fan of Monkey Magic, Journey to the West and Dragon Ball, and I love me some old school cute shmups, so this is right up my alley.
