New releases: Demon slavery is back in style

3:15 PM on 07.15.2013

It's Monday and I almost forgot. Here was me assuming it was still the weekend, but no, the new week has began and we've got a bunch of new releases to look forward to, or not. Shin Megami Tensei IV is the stand out new release this week, making 3DS owners appropriately smug. Dale's a fan, to put it lightly.

Also dropping during the squishy middle part of July is Dynasty Warriors 8, the latest title in a series that I'm sure is now only being churned out for Jim; Time and Eternity drops on PS3, and is a game I know nothing about save that it deals with time travel and looks pretty; and the Italian adventure game with a silly name Face Noir launches on PC.

What's got you all hot and bothered this week, chums?

After less than week, Super Smash Bros. 3DS sold over one million

According to a statement from Nintendo, Super Smash Bros. 3DS sold one million copies during its launch in Japan. It's great news that the series can still create such a buzz and sell that much product. The only thing that bums me out is that by the time the New 3DS hits in the US, all of the people I know will make the switch over to Smash Wii U full-time. Nintendo [Twitter]more
