The standout title for this week is easily Dark Souls for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. You guys just love getting abused, don't you? Expect a full Destructoid review to go up tomorrow, along with a review of Rage too.
Other biggies this week include NBA 2K12and Orcs Must Die!. What's looking sw33t to you?
Good day to be a gamer. Buying Dark Souls in the morning, and have Rage coming from gamefly, which should arrive on Wednesday. I'll probably pay gamefly to keep that one too if I end up liking it.
We have the most awesome fucking hobby in existence, guys. Not to get all overly-sappy about it but goddamn I feel good right now.
@You mean good day to not be a Nintendo gamer. :D Although, every noe and then I look at Xbox and PS games and think, "Wow, those guys are lucky to have such amazing games." However, if the Wii U lives up to it's promis and has good 3rd Party support and can do ACTUAL multi-platform games, I will be forever happy. So go! Enjoy your amazing Dark Souls and Rage. For I am a gamer, and although for the time being strictly Nintendo, I will watch as all these amazing games come out for you guys. And I will be content.
And anyways, I'm seriously tired. Forgive me for my rambling. Have a great Week of awesome gaming.
cant wait for rage! hope its a good one. ign gave it a 8.5 but i dont really agree with most of their reviews. anyways cant wait to see what destructoid will give it.
I wish I could jump into Dark Souls, but I still need to beat Demons Souls. Will probably just wait until the price drop. I've got RAGE preloaded on Steam. Just a little while to go now...
Gabrielle's Ghostly Groove is coming out, so upset when it got pushed back 3 months after it's original release date. I hope the game does well, but launching alongside Dark Souls, Rage, & Spider-man is not a good idea.
I'm gonna get Dark Souls on the 360. Kinda like a counterpiece to my Demon Souls. Anyone else getting on the 360? Or is the PS3 version the way to go for some of you?
RAGE for me. I may get Dark Souls but honestly the constant trial and error of the first was more frustrating than rewarding to me, and I didn't even die that much. Bragging that this one is harder has turned me off of it big time. It's a hobby, not a job.
DARK SOULS is gonna be awesome. Pre-ordered the NTSC-U version which will be shipped to me in Japan (wait that can't be right..) Anyways, very much looking forward to it.
i'm definitely picking up Dark Souls later this month and maybe Gabrielle's Ghostly Groove since i learned yesterday at work that we're getting a 300euro bonuses in december.
after first reviews of Rage i doubt i will be getting it - i'm really not interested in a game that's basically 10 hours of fetch quests in Call of Duty style linear levels. waiting for Borderlands 2.
maybe i'm gonna pick up Spider-Man game, but i'll wait for the reviews and price drop(30-40$ is ok for me).
Got Dark Souls at a midnight launch event last night and it is the best game I have played all year. Weird that when Demon's SOuls came out it was a virtual tie for GOTY for me with Uncharted 2. It's looking to be the same thing with Uncharted 3 this year. Throw Skyrim into the mix and we have ourselves a really killer battle!!!
I prolly won't buy it for some time, but it's been on my radar. More than most of the other stuff on this list, honestly. Won't be touchin' Peer Review much since I main the PS3 version (because trophies -> cheevos, but not cheevos -> trophies, and I'm quite the whore, you understand).
...and I'm lending it out at the moment. Good geez, Destructoid's lagging on me, just trying to post this follow-up. Anyway, in exchance, I've been tasked to play Modern Warfare 2. Hoo...

This has been a fairly thrilling Electronic Entertainment Expo in a lot of ways. Hard not to be when two out of the three major console competitors are showing off brand new hardware and all the new games which come along with that. But what was the most exciting aspect of this year's E3?
