New releases: Call of Juarez, BlazBlue and more photo

There's some confusion on the new releases list this week and there might be a ton more games out this week than what's actually listed after the break. At the very least, everything that's listed are the major titles out of the bunch. Unless you think shovelware is a lot better in this case.

Anyway, the only game I have some slight interest in getting is Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood. What's looking sw33t to you all this week?

Hit the break for the list of releases and trailers for most of the games.

Wii: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Roogoo: Twisted Towers, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs

X360: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Kodu, BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, Infernal: Hell's Vengeance, Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood

PS3:
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood

DS: Treasure World, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, Mega Man Star Force 3: Black Ace, Mega Man Star Force 3: Red Joker

PSP: Steambot Chronicles: Battle Tournament, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,

PC: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood

PS2: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs

Mac: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Releasing 06/30:

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (X360, PS3, Wii, PSP, DS, PC, PS2, Mac)

BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger (PS3, X360)

Roogoo: Twisted Towers (Wii)

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (PS2, Wii, X360, DS, PS3)

Infernal: Hell's Vengeance (X360)

Mega Man Star Force 3: Black Ace/Mega Man Star Force 3: Red Joker (DS)

Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood (PS3, X360, PC)

Typical, I look forward to BlazBlue for months and months only to get shafted with no UK release date, add to that they region lock both the NTSC and NTSC-J versions.

Call of Juarez for me, for some reason I thought it was out last week on Steam. Anyway, I loved the trailer and gameplay videos of CoJ (fuck me how many games can be shortened to something o something now?!) so I think I will be picking it up at some point if not first day.
Mind you I just got Morrowind:GOTY edition for £2.99 so that may take up my time for the foreseeable future!

BlazBlue looks cool and all but if I buy it I'll probably want to buy an arcade stick too, as I can't imagine getting serious about a fighter using any of the standard Wii controller options. So I think I'll wait until Tatsunoko vs. Capcom comes out and buy them both at the same time with a Stick.

Totally on the fence about BlazBlue.

I liked Guilty Gear a lot, but I don't know if I have time for another competitive fighter.

Also, I can't decide whether I actually LIKE the there's only 12 characters or if it'll feel to restrictive.

@DinnertimeNinja
You have to consider that each character is unique there are no shotoclones, also alternate versions of the characters can be unlocked. There is also the story mode which has several branches for each character. I should also point out that this isn't some "read the screen and click buttons for yes and no" but has audio dialogue throughout along with animated cutscenes. If you enjoyed the story mode in guilty gear you'll love the one in blazblue.

BLAZBLUE!!!!

@s0lesurviv0r,

I considered most of that stuff and I'm not the type that's simply concerned with "OMG This game has only 12 characterz?!" But in fighting games, I normally like to main 3 or 4 characters, and if the roster is limited, it's possible that there simply won't be enough characters that I like.

On the other hand, games like Tekken (despite the fact that I still love it) I find now I have TOO many characters. It's nearly impossible to learn high level defense against 50 separate characters unless you live in a competitive gaming hub.

In the end, I think I'm just going to plop it on my Goozex queue.

No, it is a full retail game. It used to be PSN-only, then PS3 disc only and now PS3/360 disc based.
