[New releases is your weekly look at all the hot new titles coming out this week.]
This week sees the release of two major games. BioShock 2 and Dante's Inferno. Both games offer up some good action adventure goodness and we have reviews for both titles already up for you to see if you'll like the games or not.
Other than that, this week is pretty light on releases. All for the best, as games like BioShock 2 and Dante's Inferno in the same week will outshine everything else. What's looking sw33t to all of you? Full list of releases is after the break!
Hamza Aziz, Destructoid's Community Director, has been here since day one. He was born when a tiger coughed up a hairball into a pool of ooze. He was one of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before budget cuts. Hamza works as a previews editor and manages a team in San Francisco. I need to scrounge up some money for Star Ocean, never got around to it on 360 and I'm slightly more likely to beat it on PS3 due to the lack of achievements.
They discourage me from beating any game longer than Mass Effect.
Might grab Shiren, just cuz I need to get a Wii anyway and this will probably get rare quickly. Plus I appreciate the original feel of Shiren over all the licensed versions of the "Mystery Dungeon" series Shiren comes from.
I could play Shiren on DS, but I just couldn't get into Nightmare of Druaga. They're essentially the same kind of game, I just think I like Shiren's vibe a bit more.
Holy Shit! Super Monkey Ball looks like a blast! Anyways, I just Bioshock 2 LE for me, and now I'm thinking of checking out Super Monkey Ball. Getting those hard to reach bananas!

You guys getting Star Ocean should prepare for disappointment. Oh, you'll think it's good at first, then you will reach a point where you say "Why the fuck am I still playing this crap"...'kay? God, the characters are SO bad and annoying as to ruin the solid gameplay, now THAT'S bad. You think I'm joking/am stupid, just you wait.
As for moi, Gamefly just emailed me saying they are sending Bioshock 2 and Dante's Inferno, so, hell yeah Gamefly. Yay!
Ya as screwed up as it is, I'm sticking with WKC. Even more messed up probably is I'm mostly interested in the new Tower Defense game that seems to be co-op (can't even remember the name of it.
I'm thinking and just thinking about possibly getting Heavy Rain.

If you played star ocean 3 midway through the second disk there was a plot twist that SCREWED THIS UNIVERSE UP FOREVER. I won't spoil it for you but nobody who knows this series is getting it for the story.
I like the gameplay(the battle system is fun), I'm a trophy collector( I had 210 out of the 250 battle trophys in SO3 so if I harden my resolve I can have another platinum), but I have every intention of ignoring the story ( yes I'm getting an rpg with the intention of ignoring the story, I'm fully aware of how demented that sounds).
I'm putting the voices on japanese(that and a few other improvements happend to this version) and in case that doesn't work god bless the mute button.
