Courtesy of Jeux-France, enjoy this new video showing off three of the available mini-games in Rayman Raving Rabbids 2. Bright, colorful, loud and extremely insane, the sequel to the original comedic Wii launch title looks set to be at once both charming and irritating at once. Also, it will perhaps cement the Raving Rabbids series as the cream of the crop of Wii mini-game compilations.
I overlooked the original but the allure of the Rabbids is proving too strong to resist. It's amazing how something so hideously ugly can be so adorable, but who can deny the charm of the bucktoothed, bug-eyed little freaks?

Meet the rest of the team
Haven't checked out the video yet but the first one is a 'must-buy' for the Wii. Pisses all over Warioware, and I doubt very much if Mario Party or any other mini-game-fest will fare much better in comparison.
If you can play Raving Rabbids with a straight face then you need serious help!
You know so called "real" games are just extended mini games, a game doesn't suddenly evolve half way through and become a whole new gameplay exoerience.
In all games you do the exact same thing from the beggining right up until the end, the only difference is that some games wrap this mini repetitive game mechanic around a compelling world or story.
So are people basically saying that they don't like mini games because there is no story or narrative to get involved in? If that's the case then 90% of games should be hated as much as "minigames".
No , people are saying they don't like mini-games because they're vapid time wasters that don't require much thought or effort. No matter what system they're on

Yep, I agree, just apply that same logic to 90% of all games out there aswell.

I'm not a big fan of mine games but the description you use is more accurate when describing bigger epic style games. Games like halo and warcraft require almost no thought but take up a huge amount of time compared to most minigames. I would be willing to bet even people who LIKE minigames spend less time on them then they would on a game like zelda or oblivion. Those are the real time wasters. If you are anti-wasting-of-time, you should target longer, more in depth style games. If you are against games that don't require thought, you should be a big puzzle gamer. I'm guessing neither is the case.
Somehow, my games are superior to yours. Yours are too short to be awesome and cool, like mine. And the graphics aren't good enough to be sweet either. Sure, we both sit in front of a TV pretending to be someone we're not (ok, well thats what I do when I play an FPS) but, well, your stuff is lame. My games are awesome and mature. SO just shut up already. You suck and I hate the Wii. Everything the Wii is about is poop.
Its nice to see some competitive 4 player going. I hope there's more of it. The one thing that bugged me about the first one was it was more of a one at a time, who gets the best score thing instead of everyone at once
I'm addicted to the music mini-games of the first Rabbids, something about when they join in on the dance floor with that trademark scream....gets me every time.
they should make one as a story, not a collection of minigames with a shit ass story to make it seem like it's not a collection of mini games. i like adventures!! wii need moar adventure
"Games like halo and warcraft require almost no thought"
Hold up. I think we're underestimating the amount of thought videogames take because we're all on automatic for the basics. Videogames and their interactive environments really aid in the development of plastic intelligence and predictive logic. Even simple games like pac-man exercise portions of the brain that don't get used every day (unless you're a gamer.)
So what grapefruit actually means is that videogames are a waste of time, and we should all find something better to do. Outside. Because we're not going to sit in there on that couch all summer, no siree bob, we're not.
I do like how he's on the stereotypical "blast and retract" gameplan. I like that one. It's neet. :/

Rabbids > Link > Master Chief > Whatever the crap Sony has
Ha!
In a more serious note, God I love these games more than anything.
