The above video is Sony's newest ad for their upcoming PlayStation 3 console. You might remember their last ad as something of a Lynch-esque nightmare involving a demonic baby that you wanted to exorcise via a double dose of RU-486. Sadly, pills don't work on things that aren't only in your mind.
Here at Destructoid, we applaud Sony for going in a completely different route with this ad. Instead of scaring the bejeezus out of us, this ad gives off an air of "our machine is powerul AND it likes the same toys you did as a child in the 80s". I was waiting for it to ask me if I owned the new Snake Eyes action figure.
Sony, this is the first thing you've done to make me happy in months. Keep it up and someday I might make you my wife.
