I'm thrilled that the PlayStation Vita line-up is already so strong. RPG fans usually have to wait for a bit after a system launch for a proper offering, but not this time. Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention may not be a launch game, but with NIS America saying "spring 2012," it shouldn't be too much of a wait.
This turn-based strategy RPG always looked fine on the PSP, but it looks pretty nice on the Vita. You can get a better look at this in our huge gallery of screenshots.
Expect to hear new details on added characters, story bits and game systems soon.

...and yet here you are, commenting on an article about this so-called portable console. When you click the link that clearly had Vita in the name, what were you expecting it to be about? Clearly you care a little bit or you wouldn't have even bothered to check out the post.
Anywho, I'm super excited this. I played the shit out of this game on the PS3 so a portable version with more shit added to it is nothing but a good thing for me.
Damn though, it's hard to look at this game after Disgaea 4. It's almost criminal that some D4 characters will have to be toned down for this game.
This is Destructoid -- no one has anything "nice" to say. Although there are many words placed together that read funny as hell.
I don't care about portable consoles at all.

If a game is worth porting, it's worth porting. Disgaea usually works better on the road, and now that the technology has caught up to it, it would only make sense for this to happen.

Definitely on my radar. You know, once memory card prices drop a bit. I mean, the cheapest one is fine for game saves and whatnot, but it'll be filled to the brim as soon as you download 3-4 games.
Now I just wait 2-4 years until the Vita and the cards don't cost a whole leg :)
