Considering my high level of personal interest in the musical style called Vocaloid, I brought you as much news as possible on the Hatsune Miku PSP game Project Diva. While the game certainly presented ample amounts of fanservice for fans of the digital popstar, it also held up nicely as a fun rhythm title, and the sales were apparently pretty good. So good, in fact, that Alafista reports there is already a sequel in the works.

The rumor is that this game could be for an HD console rather than a portable, which would be a thrill for me as I'd love to play the series on a big pretty screen. The infamous Nico Nico Douga has already called to fans to submit their favorite Hatsune Miku songs for possible inclusion in the new game. Of course, this won't be released in the US, so it's looking like another import. Anyone other than me love the first game and happy to hear this news?

OMG, CUTEST "seegaa" call ever.

Goddamnit, soon as I heard it, I spilled my morning orange juice all over myself. Well, I have to go change and get ready anyhow.

I loved project diva but some of the songs were overly frustrating to full combo. I'm kinda hoping this new release will include more Super Cell stuff and maybe a Miku cover of Black Rock Shooter. Also I'd like to see a more accessible custom song feature.

Can we have more Vocaloids in games other than Miku please? I'd kill for a Len and Rin game.

I won a Hatsune Miku 9" Japanese-style toy thing with a stand from those vending machines you see in all the malls in Japan. You know, those ones with the crane? I could tell that a certain machine was paying off and was gripping good so I tried and won almost instantly.

Of course, I had no idea what I had just won. I later looked it up and found out who she was. Now I'm kinda interested since I have the toy thing.
