I'm wondering which it will lean more toward. Either way I'm pretty interested to see where this goes.
Come back to me when it's a crossover using Dynasty Warriors, and the final boss is Lu Bu riding a Slowpoke.

Now,I hope they at least try to explain how the man made Pokemon like Mewtwo,Porygon and Voltorb ended up in Feudal Japan.
Seriously, though, I'm all about some weird crossovers. I hope they bring it over!
Right. Nintendo needs to liquidate 'The Pokemon Company' (the external company that runs Pokemon). They have been running Pokemon into the ground.
Anything outside of the mains series (done by Game Freak) is almost always complete garbage especially on consoles, and Game Freak have been lazy recently and the franchise is in decline. The sales of the main series are less than HALF of what they used to be.
Nintendo need to take a stranglehold of Pokemon and fix it again.
Seriously... what the shit is that... AND WHERE IS MY POKEMON SNAP 2 YOU ASSHATS.
Sales aren't half of what they used to be. Black and White sold over 1 million copies on its first day compared to Gold and Silver's 1.4 million in the first week. The main series games are still doing very well.
I'm pretty interested to see how this turns out. The gameplay looks Fire Emblemish which is good.
I desperately hope the next pokemon game is at least not over the head view... that maybe for once they could put a bit more focus into the graphics department or really go crazy with the pokemon animations... but we'll see I suppose...
Actually, the series is on the rise. The main games hit a slump during the GBA years, but the entries on DS have turned the situation around.
I know, saw it after the rant was over... I think I'm going to read articles twice before posting... this seems to be becoming a problem.
Also, for those who are all "gimme Dynasty Warriors Pokeymans" there is such a thing as Pokemon Rumble Blast. It's not exactly the formula, but you mow down scores of weak foes and take on difficult bosses. Not the same but close.
I really want to see those kind of animations in the main Pokemon games. Don't get me wrong it's quite lovely and they finally started playing with the cameras in the Black/White entries (although just for a handful of places) but after three generations of the iconic sprite, I think we're more than overdue for an upgrade.
@WinterZero: Can't...! Stop...! Watching...! Parakeet...!
Also,I'm happy that they used the Samurai Warriors representations of the characters for this game instead of the regular ultra realistic style that the other Nobunaga's Ambition games use, they just wouldn't fit well together.
Anyways,I'm so hyped it gives me migraines!
I should probably play the nes VC copy I downloaded... if I can figure out how....
SRPG. Pokemon. Two things I like, and on the DS. I'm still wary, but the premise does sound sorta kickass. God knows we haven't seen a decent turn-based strategy game in ages.
