With a Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 release just around the corner, Nintendo is revealing details on their latest mode, entitled Pokemon World Tournament. In this new mode, players will be able to take on classic gym leaders from Pokemon eras gone by, as well as challenge Pokemon World Tournament opponents in either single, double, triple battles or rotational battles.
Select winners from the 2012 Pokémon Video Game World Championships will also be distributed via Wi-Fi for combat, with more details on that to come later this year. Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 comes out on DS on October 7.
