New podcasts coming to MGS 4 in January, everyone act excited photo

Konami is set to begin streaming more podcasts into Metal Gear Solid 4’s in-game iPod. According to PS3Fanboy, a new episode of Konami’s podcast will be available on January 8, 2009. The guests on the show will be Ken Imaizumi, Aki Saito, and Sean Eyestone. The content is unknown, but will probably be focused on all things MGS.

Episodes are to be released every two weeks after the 8th and will only be available through Snake’s iPod. That means the potential listener will have to boot up their PS3’s and MGS 4 in order to listen. Eat that, GameStop.

Liquid Snake, Solid Snake, and Big Boss were unavailable for comment.

You can tell its been shopped by the way it blurs around his ear. You can trust me, because I've seen a lot of shops in my day.

I definately give Konami alot of credit, they're trying something different. Oye, too bad there's so many games out now. I really do wanna play through MGS4 again.

Kick ass what a great way to get people to hold onto MGS4 and not trade it in. This is really kick ass! Hopefully they will have some kind of news about MGS5 that would be amazing :D

thats actually a good idea, i dont have to act excited. it gives me a reason to pull the game back out which will inevitably turn into a 4th play through. its dumb we ddnt get these when it was first out, but shit ill take late over never. its not like these are crucial to gameplay in the first place, more like a perk.

I don't bother downloading the podcasts, but I did download the great music and all of the cool octocamo skins.

I always felt weird listening to the podcasts in the game,I cant be bothered taking out the time to listen to them whilst playing,I'm too busy trying to be stealthy as possible. When I go on a rampage, the last thing I'm concentrating on is what some presenter guy is saying on my Ipod,I could care less.

I just put on the music and blast away. The podcats are a good idea, just the wrong type of game to utilize them in, IMHO

I liked listening to the podcast, so this is only good news for me.

I still have to get a couple of music tracks left - and finish the game about five more timews 'til i'll be satisfied with it.

Its a nice reason to play through again though, I thought they might have forgotten about this feature...
